Finally, the long wait is over! My father in law will be coming home tomorrow to stay here for good. The have been working hard all their life and now they just want to spend most of their time with their grandchildren. IN line with this , we are also planning up a birthday party for him this month. I don't remember the last time we were able to spend a birthday with him.  We are looking for tokens for our special guests since we plan to invite his previous managers. We are thinking of getting the swisher sweet cigars for the guys and some really nice fans for the ladies. Things are not final yet as we are still searching online for our possible options.

Have you heard about the group One Direction? Well, that is my son's current favorite and he wants to download some of it's songs and videos online. After doing so, I noticed that it is in a different program so I wasn't able to play it. Thanks for the vlc download that I got, now my son can watch it from time time. VLC can really play a lot of media files at such a great quality. Of course, the best part is its for free! It is always nice to have a breath of fresh air every once in a while. The city has always been busy so as our daily lives so my family decided to have a quick weekend getaway in a nearby province. We decided to go on a weekend to avoid the crowd and just enjoy the scenery and good food. On our way to the province, we saw a fire in one of the villages. The firemen were in full force of shutting down the fire together with their single jacket fire hose. I hope nobody was harmed from that incident. Anyway, after we reached our hotel, we decided to rest for an hour and off we went swimming after. The kids enjoyed the good weather , they had a grand time at the kiddie playground too. On the other hand, we enjoyed the yummy food at the hotel.

We have decided to fix some chairs here in our house and instead of getting professional services for it we will be the one to do the handyman work.  It would save us dollars if we will do the labor instead of paying for it. We got some foam pad from the home store which were on sale. It was a little hard at first but thanks to all the videos that I watched online as it helped us a lot with the process. We were able to finish our dining chairs in 3 days ! Not bad for a starter, huh?! Now we are thinking of our next home project already. We need to go to the home store again and look for some discounted items that we can use.

Last January , I had my executive check up and I was shocked to see the results of my laboratory exam. My cholesterol and sugar levels were way beyond normal. I was given medicines by my doctor and I was advised to go on a diet and have some exercise. I wanted to try  out some diet pills already but I realized that I should read more about the side effects of phytodren before planning to try on something. I just focused with my balanced diet and regular exercise. Now I already have normal blood results and the doctor said I should continue this healthy lifestyle of mine. I eat more vegetables and fish this time, with a little to no rice during dinner.

Back in the dark ages of the 1990s and early 2000s, portable electronic entertainment was somewhat limited. There were cartridge games like those from Nintendo and mobile devices with few functions. Communication

The telephone allowed people to talk to each other in real-time over long distances instead of sending notes. Now phones allow people to send notes instead of talking in real-time. Apps for Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites enable people to communicate with friends easily via their mobile device.

Users can maintain and update their profiles on the go instead of only when at a computer. Pictures can be taken and posted immediately for friends and family to see. Skype has an app with which people can communicate via the cameras on their phones.

Music

Portable music has been around for decades. But instead of a Walkman or MP3 player, music can be played on the same versatile cell phone that has so many other features. As with many other entertainment apps, Apple dominates the field, and their online store and app offers millions of music selections.

Jay-Z, will.i.am and other musicians have released apps that allow fans to follow their works or their interests. AOL Music’s Play app allows people to listen to music and share songs along with their comments on Facebook.

News

CNN, Fox News, The Weather Channel and even The Onion have apps for news junkies who want their news as soon as possible. Updates on the latest news, breaking stories and weather condition forecasts are all available via mobile device apps.

Movies/TV

Movies and television shows are no longer limited to theaters and TVs. With the right app, viewers can follow their favorite TV shows or watch clips from broadcast programs on their Smartphone. With Hulu Plus, viewers have access to all of Hulu’s content. The iTVmediaPlayer app allows users to watch live TV and other content from any other web-based TV providers.

Mobile apps and Smartphones are changing how we entertain ourselves. News and entertainment are more accessible than ever and is available via a device not much bigger than a deck of cards. As great as all this is, the technology is still evolving and constantly improving. What might the future hold for entertainment apps?

Mother's Day is a calendar event that is celebrated around the world.
